Big Screen Solutions supplied and installed a 45-square-metre indoor LED display setup for a 50th birthday celebration at The Langham Melbourne. The installation included two large side screens, five centre screens and six mobile LED posters, creating a coordinated visual experience from the ballroom entrance through to the main event space.
Project Overview
All main LED screens were installed on 600 mm risers, with one metre of rear access maintained for installation and technical support. The complete installation took approximately 10 hours.
The venue provided a three-phase power supply, which was safely distributed into the required single-phase circuits using our power distribution board. All screens were connected, configured and fully tested before the event began.
Six mobile LED posters were positioned along the entrance route to the ballroom, displaying event photos and videos offline. Their wheeled design allowed them to be positioned and moved easily within the venue.
The event ran from 5:00 pm until 1:00 am. Our team began dismantling the installation immediately afterwards and completed the pack-down and removal in approximately six hours.
